CREATIVE MEDIA SPECIALIST
DOING WHAT I LOVE, ONE THING AT A TIME.
A little bit about my journey.
A sharp, ambitious 27-year-old trying to make my mark as a multimedia journalist in Toronto, Ontario. I originally hail from Bangladesh.
I'm actively creating a strong base in modern journalism, mixing textbook knowledge with a lot of practical experience. I've gotten good at delivering quick updates with "on the hour news" and tried out different media styles at Seneca Journalism. My work with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) shows I can handle top-level professional standards, and various freelance gigs have made me adaptable and great at networking.
Visual storytelling is totally my thing. A recent videographer internship with ABC really upped my game in the technical side of major broadcast production. I also have a passion for photography, using a great eye for composition to grab compelling still shots.
I'm a working bartender at night, which means I'm an expert at juggling the high-pressure demands of the news world while connecting with people. This role has given me essential multitasking and customer service skills, plus it offers a unique, down-to-earth view of community life that makes me a well-rounded and resourceful pro.
